Road to GWT 3
When Google released the first version of GWT in 2006, its mission was clear - to enable building scalable client-side web apps in Java. The mission still holds after 7 years of powering some of the most business critical applications in the world - including AdWords that generates most of Google’s revenues. Google took openness one step further in 2012 by establishing a steering committee that includes Vaadin, Sencha, RedHat and a few others, in addition to Google itself.
