After a year since the Vaadin launch and the JavaOne is here again. We did not know what to expect, but seems that the reception in US exceeded all our expectations - Vaadin is very widely used to create enterprise applications of all kind.

That's a reindeer, Duke!

Actually, we are very excited! There are so many companies and other organizations using Vaadin we didn't event know about! Including very interesting names - I'm sure you know about. (Unfortunately we still have to wait for a while to be able talk about the projects, but I'm sure they will be listed at vaadin.com/who-is-using-vaadin in no time)

As you might already know JavaOne conference was organized as a satellite event at the San Francisco Hilton hotel for the Oracle OpenWorld held at Moscone. This made us wonder how many people would actually attend. Speculations did not get any lighter when Google decided to cancel their participation. But overall it seems to turn out really great! Oracle OpenWorld is a big event and Java is still going strong.

During the event, we gave away about 1400 of Book of Vaadin copies during the event. The most useful conference swag ever. If you missed your copy, there is always the online version.
