I'm glad to announce the availability of the renewed version of the Vaadin Reference Card (previously known as the Vaadin Refcard).

This reference card is tailored to developers with previous Vaadin experience. It is a quick reference with condensed information on key concepts and everyday tasks that arise while using the framework. It includes topics on:

  • UI Components
  • Sizing
  • Alignment
  • AppLayout
  • Navigation
  • Forms and data binding
  • Sessions, Views, and UIs
  • Application lifecycle
  • UI component attach/detach
  • Static content
  • Styling
  • Production builds
  • Configuration properties

The Vaadin Reference Card is available for free not only in PDF format, in case you want to have it printed or available in your mobile devices while being offline, but also as a web page that you can bookmark in your browser for future reference.

I have left topics such as Spring or Jakarta EE integrations out of the scope of the Vaadin Reference Card to keep it focused on the key core elements of the Vaadin Java framework. I truly hope that you find it useful and informative. Please do not hesitate to let me know in the comments section below if I have missed important topics that could be included in the next edition.
