Last week over 600 Vaadin enthusiasts took the Vaadin Certification exam. From these over 160 people showed the skills to receive the diploma and passed the exam. Congratulations for all of you who passed, you are now part of an elite group.

Didn’t pass? Prepare.

Based on the statistics, you can clearly see that preparation and determination made a difference. People who took the exam later in the week (but not at the last minute) were more likely to succeed and pass the exam. Almost half of those who focused on the exam on Friday also passed it. Overall, the passing percentage during the week was a little bit better than all-time average, reaching just over 25%.

Practical tip: If you want to pass, take your time to study the Book of Vaadin and reserve at least 60 minutes for taking the exam. And do it on Friday -  it is statistically the best day to pass.

Find certified developers

With the number of people with a Vaadin 7 Developer Certificate growing, it becomes useful to find competent Vaadin developers near you. That is why we created a map, listing and making it possible to search for certified people,  at vaadin.com/certification.

If you are certified, but unlisted (or show up lost in Antarctic), please go and check your certificate sharing settings at vaadin.com/certificate and also check that the country and LinkedIn and Twitter contact information is up-to-date at your profile page.
