Vaadin’s Dock Magazine gathers the best and the latest stories about and around Vaadin - the roadmap for the framework, amazing customer cases and stories from the Vaadin office and people behind the magic. This October we updated the stories again and the brand new edition is ready for you to enjoy. Here are some examples of what you find inside.

Magnolia + Vaadin = Awesome UI

Magnolia is an open source Java CMS that delivers smartphone simplicity on an enterprise-scale. The mobile-inspired user interface (built with Vaadin) works through customizable, task-focused Apps, a notification stream called the Pulse, and a system of Favorites for quickly accessing the workspace. Road to GWT 3

When Google released the first version of GWT in 2006, its mission was clear - to enable building scalable client-side web apps in Java. The mission still holds after 7 years of powering some of the most business critical applications in the world - including AdWords that generates most of Google’s revenues. Google took openness one step further in 2012 by establishing a steering committee that includes Vaadin, Sencha, RedHat and a few others, in addition to Google itself.
