According to the PYPL PopularitY of Programming Language Index, in November 2022, Java is the second most popular language in the world. This ranking is determined by analyzing requests for programming language tutorials on Google. In addition, Java also holds its position among the top three languages of the TIOBE Index. As such, Java continues to be an essential choice to develop modern, scalable, and multilayered business-critical applications.

To better understand the role Java plays in building and modernizing business applications, we’re running our first state of Java in the enterprise survey. The survey will help us gain interesting insights into how organizations are using Java today and what are some of the challenges they face in developing Java applications, for example. We’ll compile a report out of the survey results, which will be available on the vaadin.com website by early 2023.

We're giving away an iPad!

We’d appreciate it if you could share your experience in using Java within your organization. The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. As a way of saying thank you, we’ll be drawing a winner for an iPad. If you choose to enter the drawing, please provide an email address at the end of the survey.
