In October we decided to run a survey on the Vaadin community to get a better understanding of how you and your company see trainings and certifications as an internal competence builder. Having just had a certification week where over 160 new Vaadin Developers got certified, it didn’t come as a surprise that over 75% of you were planning on getting Vaadin 7 Certified at some point.
When asking about the specific contents for a training, Java EE with Vaadin jumped ahead as the most asked for training, followed tightly by Mobile applications with Vaadin. I’m happy to tell you that we’re working on new open classroom trainings where, among others, the upcoming official CDI addon will play an important role in the JavaEE with Vaadin training.
