Vaadin Designer compared a Visual View Builder

Hello Guys
Visual View Builder has the same components than Vaadin Designer?

I am trying to find a solution for “Visual Drag and Drop Components” using Vaadin.

Hi, there are tools you can use for drag and drop view building:

  • start.vaadin.com - use “Layout with Content Areas” view type where you use components from the palette and perform DnD operations:

  • Vaadin Copilot - available since 24.4 (Flow support from 24.5) which is built in developer toolkit in all Vaadin applications. It also allows edition of your existing application. To activate Copilot click on bottom right Vaadin icon while in development mode

How about Vaadin Designer? Is it still available?

The Designer is still available, but we recommend using Copilot for visually editing views from now on. It outputs Java code for Flow or React code for Hilla, which allows you to easily switch between coding by hand and tweaking visually.
