I tried the demo code in 7.7.7 but only the root element “All projects” is displayed without the arrow. I can not expend the root element. Can someone help me to use this add-on ?

It sounds like the css is not included correctly. Try running mvn clean install on your project or the vaadin:update-theme and vaadin:update-widgetset goals. Please come to the forum (https://vaadin.com/forum) if you have more questions.
