Vaadin Widget wizard does not start

Trying to create skeleton of Vaadin widget as instructed in https://vaadin.com/book/vaadin7/-/page/gwt.eclipse.html

The problem is that wizard does not start. Just nothing happens when Vaadin Widget is select from dropdown list (file/new/other/Vaadin/*

I’m using
Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.

Version: Juno Service Release 2
Build id: 20130225-0426

with

Vaadin Plug-in for Eclipse 2.1.1.201302181316 com.vaadin.integration.eclipse.feature.group Vaadin Ltd

Eclipse version Indigo and Juno tested. Also Eclipse that comes in Android SDK. Same problem with all of them

Done some experiments, such as started eclipse with clean-option, re-installed ivyDE and Vaadin plugins. Notice also that nullpointer exeption occurs when Vaadin Widget is started…see log:

I cannot reproduce this with the latest experimental branch of the plugin, which contains a large number of changes.

Please try with the plugin from the update site http://vaadin.com/eclipse/experimental . Note that the experimental site does not have correct plugin grouping at the moment so you need to uncheck the “Group items by category” in the “Install New Software…” dialog.

There will probably be a new stable version of the plugin very soon based on the current experimental version.

Actually there is similar ticket for this : http://dev.vaadin.com/ticket/11223. It’s about maven eclipse project but it has the same main reason: unexpected context.
I can reproduce the issue with following steps:

create plain JSE project
select this project node in the project explorer.
invoke new Vaadin wizard .

As a result wizard doesn’t appear and NPE in the log.

I still get a error when I click New–>Vaadin 7 project MenuItem in eclipse.

I do use the experimental vaadin eclipse plugin.
