When the MarkerLayer is deprecated (and so I guess Marker class) and users

When the MarkerLayer is deprecated (and so I guess Marker class) and users should use the VectorLayer, how can we combine Popups with Vectors?
I’m missing both the setAnchor() and addClickListener() methods in combination with vectors

Please advise
