Version 4.0.0-rc2 works wonderfully with Vaadin 22. However, when values are filled in, the setPlaceholder() no-longer show the label/text. It used to work with previous version. Once it’s fixed, that will be perfect.
On top of this, I also noticed that the “space” after the already selected items is much larger than before. Way too large in my opinion (have I perhaps missed an option to set this?).
Hope this can get fixed easily.
I think the extra “space” is reserved for the placeholder text. Except it doesn’t show the placeholder text in the 4.0.0-rc2 build.
\u0000Indeed, part of it will certainly be for the placeholder (that is missing), but the space is larger than only that. Looking at both the UI using the older and the newer versions, shows the control from the new version is much wider. Maybe both are related to the same cause. But let’s hope this (both) can be fixed quickly \uD83E\uDD1E
