Vaadin Editor and CSS

I´m new to Vaadin and at the moment I´m testing the Vaadin Editor.

Although I defined own css and attached them to components properties they are only visible at execution time.

Is it correct that the own ccs styles do not affect the designer-view in the vaadin editor and only visible at execution time?

That is correct - the visual editor does not use any theme information from your application.
