Vaadin 6.1.3 available

As you may have noticed, Vaadin 6.1.3 appeared on the download site on friday. It is a bugfix release for Vaadin 6. See the
Change Log
for a detailed list of issues fixed in this release.

During the weekend, a vigilant user reported a notable regression:
LoginForm component is broken
). If you are using LoginForm in your application, you may want to wait for 6.1.4, which is scheduled for release around November 5th (less than two weeks) with a fix for the problem.

You can download the installation package from
or, if you are using the
Vaadin Plugin for Eclipse
, simply upgrade your project from project preferences to use the new version and the plugin will download the new package for you.

For a list of new features and enhancements in the previous minor update release 6.1, see the
Release Notes for Vaadin 6.1.0

Problem fixes and enhancements planned for upcoming releases can be found from the
Vaadin Roadmap
in Vaadin Trac.

As always, when upgrading from an earlier version, you should recompile any custom widget sets and refresh your project in Eclipse. If you are upgrading from earlier than 6.1.0, notice that Vaadin 6.1 uses GWT 1.7.0 (included in the installation package). See the
General Upgrade Notes
for more details on upgrading.
