v5.0.0-alpha5:

The component has grown quite well, you don’t need to import Valo theme anymore (which is called Lumo now), it’s there by default. Even though you can’t tweak the theme that much, the default style looks beautiful enough to stay as it is.

The grid is responsive, its transition feels very smooth. Although its loading time was not that fast, but also not slow either, the result is somewhat incredible. With lazy-loading, this component will be more awesome.

It has plenty of use case in the and code samples [here]
(https://vaadin.com/elements/vaadin-grid/html-examples/grid-basic-demos), I just picked one very basic and test it out. But the page really shows that the potential is unlimited with this one. Definitely one of the best free grid you can grab out there in this river of thousands of other web-components.

Nonetheless, I’m still disappointed that even though they gave out plenty of use cases and examples, it’s still somewhat not beginner-friendly enough. Users still need a range of knowledge before they can actually dive to this.

I would give this 4.5/5 but can’t do that :)
