how add or delete items in tree grid?

You add or delete items in the DataProvider, and then call grid.getDataProvider().refreshAll()

How to reliably scroll to an item in TreeGrid?

scrollToIndex(int rowIndex) // does nothing
scrollToIndex(int... indexes) // only works with setAllRowsVisible(false)

Also scrollToIndex(int... indexes) puts the item at the top of the viewport. I'd like to have it scroll to about 1/4 from top of viewport.

I am using an AbstractBackEndHierarchicalDataProvider.

Good question. The new behavior is not described here, and it should. I made a ticket:

how many level of nodes supported? I see that in all examples, it only support 2 level including the parent nodes.

also can I create footer for individual level nodes?

I don't think there’s any limit for the level of nodes, although there’s likely a practical limit how many levels is reasonable to show.

how can we refresh everything or refresh a subtree(much more important - one item + all loaded children of any depth) in react variant?
