Test the new Vaadin MCP server

Hello all,

We’ve been working on a rewrite of our MCP server and it’s getting ready for real-world use. Internally we call it the “Java MCP” because it’s rewritten in Java (the current one is written in TypeScript). You can find the new MCP server here:

Please test it in your projects and report any findings you might have (good or bad) here in the forum. It has slightly different tools than the current MCP server, but should perform better.

Perfect timing, was just having some trouble.

By the way, I was just about to report that some of links at Configure Other MCP-Compatible Tools to Use Vaadin MCP Server are broken:

One minor comment; For Claude Code, maybe point out the scope options?

# Install for you:
claude mcp add vaadin --transport http https://mcp.vaadin.com/docs 

# Install in project:
claude mcp add vaadin --transport http https://mcp.vaadin.com/docs --scope project
