slider vs keyboard focus

In the new 6.4.0 sampler, I noticed that the slider demo exhibits two counter-intuitive behaviors

  • Clicking on the ball to move the slider does not bring it into focus. Therefore, if you move the slider to roughly 10, you cannot immediately use the arrow keys to move it to 12 (you have to click on the rail next to the ball before you can, and since the rail is narrow, this isn’t as easy as it could).
  • In most forms with only one input component, one would expect the focus to already be on the first component, and the arrow keys to work right away.

I would call it a bug. Created ticket http://dev.vaadin.com/ticket/5329 for this.

Yep, would be better if the component had focus right away. (http://dev.vaadin.com/ticket/5330)
