Hi,

Thanks for this Vaadin add-on. I am interested in potential means to optimise the streaming performance on low-bandwidth networks.

  1. There is reference to compression in the code but it does not appear to be enabled for the default PCM stream?
  2. Is there a read-ahead buffer on the client which can be adjusted for performance to avoid drop-outs? (or any other suitable parameters).
  3. Lastly, is there any possibility of streaming MP3 files? (not just converting on the server for transfer as PCM).
