Missing feature in IntelliJ CE plugin (1.4.9)

I am using the IntelliJ IDEA 2024.3.5 (Community Edition)
Recently I updated the Vaadin plugin

The earlier plugin version (1.4.8) had a very convenient “Use Authentication” checkbox, which was very useful.
The latest version (1.4.9) is missing that facility. That means for a new project, I need to manually setup the boilerplate code for User, Roles, SecurityConfiguration etc.

Can you please bring back the Authentication feature in the latest plugin?

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. It is a part of new approach for Vaadin starters called Walking Skeleton. One of options is to move “Use authentication” directly to Vaadin Copilot. I will update this thread after discussed internally.
