It was a nice plugin but how can I integrate the upload display in my UI without having it as separate window?

Currently there is no simple way for it. Please file a feature request here: https://github.com/wbstr/vaadin-multifileupload/issues.
In case you want to display upload state with the upload button try EasyUploads.
