I would like to use this for checkboxes and buttons, but to use the Grid editor for regular text fields and such (to keep down the no. of Fields. I assume that will help performance.)
Can it be done, or is that outside the scope of ComponentRenderer?
it is now possible :) , check the “Classic Grid with Decorator” Tab in the demo. You might want to disable editing of the component fields to hide them.
