I have tried to make it compatible with Vaadin 8 in my fork → https://github.com/ilgun/ExpandingTextArea.
If there is someone interested and I will keep it up to date since this one seems to be dead.
This is cool-- can you give instructions on how to plug this vaadin 8 compatibile version in? Is there a maven dependency?
