Hello Thomas. Sorry for the delay on this.
I believe that what you need is to access the ‘position’ attribute. That attribute is part of the event on client-side but is not updated on server-side. So I created [this]
(https://github.com/FlowingCode/CarouselAddon/issues/10) issue to add the feature on SlideChangeEvent.

We will let you know when a new release is out.
