It’s possible to apply different colors to a BarChart?
At the moment only the first defined color is used.

One color is used per category. If you add multiple categories, subsequent colors will be used. (Please have a look at the multi-category bar chart sample code I added today).
However, customization of individual data elements will be made available in an upcoming version.
Since this is not available in the current version of echarts, I don’t think this feature can be made available unless it will be supported in a future version of echarts.
