Hello! I wonder if this component when used for dates could be used together with a date picker. Did anybody try? Thanks!

Hi! If I remember correctly this extension and the date picker both manipulating the input caused undesired behavior in the UI. This works best (and perhaps only) with the TextField input.

Thanks for your quick response! Our customer is complaining about the DatePicker: it is possible to type in nonsense like a string instead of a date, and no error is displayed… that was the reason for my question.

It’s marked as high priority, but is waiting for an enhancement to be made to Flow: https://github.com/vaadin/flow/issues/8242
