In 1.4.7 showing html content does not work anymore. This works in 1.4.4.
Are there any changes in 1.4.7?

you are absolutely right.
In v6 of tippy.js it got disabled by default [to prevent potential XSS attacks]
(https://atomiks.github.io/tippyjs/v6/all-props/#allowhtml).
In tooltips4vaadin:1.4.8 it is enabled again.
