Ah, sorry I caught this only now. I will have a look once I am back to work, but currently I am traveling around the UK with my family.
I did only very little, though, to wrap the original script by Daniel Eden. Without having read your suggestion / issue, chances are high you need to contact him about the change!

The unwanted Jetty dependency should be gone with 2.0.0 - also this is now working with Vaadin 14 (native NPM mode).
