For me, it did not work for some reason. No compile issues, but the table was empty even though I set the items. When I replaced your Table with the on-board Grid, the items appeared.
If you want to look further into the issue, the table was placed inside a Details-Component within a horizontal Layout.
Which Vaadin version you were using?
