Combobox/dropdown list width


I’m trying to find solution to make popup part of combobox/dropdown wider than textbox part. Is it possible? Now, popup part has always the same width as textbox regardless on content (text) width.


You need to do it with CSS.

With Vaadin 14 create CSS file with following content with this and import with @CssImport(value = "combobox-styles.css", themeFor="vaadin-combo-box-overlay") in your main layout Java class.

width: 500px !important;

In addition to this set the theme attribute in your Java code with ComboBox.

	comboBox.getElement().setAttribute("theme", "widepopup");
