Checkbox' label styling in V23.2 (solved)

How can I style the label of the chekbox if it’s in a context menu? I’m especially interested in the color of the label. I’m using Vaadin 23.2. Thanks!

I’ve tried :host([theme~="tertiary-inline"]) ::slotted(vaadin-checkbox) ::slotted(label) { color: var(--color-white); } in vaadin-context-menu-list-box.css without success :frowning_with_open_mouth:

OK, I simplified a bit. Since I couldn’t reach the label of the checkbox from the context menu I added a classname (.column-toggle-checkbox) to my checkboxes, thus i can customize from vaadin-checkbox.css with the folllowing:

    color: var(--color-white);
}``` 👍

Perhaps you’d rather want to use the “checkable” API of Context Menu items, instead of adding actual Checkbox components inside them: https://vaadin.com/docs/latest/components/context-menu/#checkable-menu-items

Thank you @resilient-meerkat for the comment, I didn’t know such a thing existed. I’ll give it a try.

I’ve tried it, it’s not bad, but the checkbox looks better for me. But thanks anyway!
