Checkbox - checkmark not visible in IE 11

When using IE 11 the checkmark in the checkbox implemented in the sampler (link below) is not visible. The popup indicates the value is changed when the checkbox is clicked but the checkmark is never visible. I’m experiencing the same behavior in an application implemented using Vaadin 7.
Any ideas?

I should add the problem only exists for later versions of IE 11.

Works for me on Windows 10, IE11 version 11.192.16299.0. Could you tell which IE11 version you have?
