BUT: please fix the POM - it references 1.0-SNAPSHOT. I am not sure how it works in Maven build, but Gradle fails to load the dependency due to inconsistent metadata.
Are you trying to run the demo from the gihub? Would you add more details of the issue to the Issue Tracker (github) so we can tackle the issue?
