We are investigating using Hilla in our existing Vaadin project. However, we do not use Spring. Are there any plans to generalize Hilla so you can use it with other containers?
There is a community (Vaadin employee) driven solution for Quarkus by Marco… other than that… spring boot is a must have.
From my understanding of the last years: I doubt that there is any reasonable chance in the next year or two that this tight coupling is removed.
