I am using Vaadin to develope a web application, the gui looks quite beautiful in Chrome browse.However, when I change to use IE8, the display turn to be very ugry, seems some css or sass no take effect in IE?
Could any solution to make these css and sass also working in IE8?
Supplement, I am using Reinder and Valo theme

Normally Vaadin is pretty good in looking the same over all supported Browsers - and IE8 is supported by Vaadin 7.
The combination of Themes you mentioned makes me suspicious that you have tweaked those yourself, so most probably the cause is laying there. Another cause might be, that there are layout-errors due to invalid sizes given to layouts and components. Check that by using the debug-window.
