Trying to get a "split change event" via addSplitterClickListener

I am looking for a way to have a listener get a split-position-change event.
I would have thought addSplitterClickListener is going to do that, but even after marking my horizontalSplit as immediate I am not going the split-change event.

I’ll appreciate any help.

Actually I just found an add-on for this purpose, it is called
Split panel drag extension
