I see - acual for a new Vaadin 7 project the xml.file isn’t necessary - annoations will do the job.
But if I create a new empty Vaadin 7 project with eclipse - text example code with EEpreview doesn’t work.
The context is Test - and the internal browser window shows the directory

What is going wrong? This problem is new for me - perhaps there is a context with my last Vaadin update to 7.1.4

P.S: The next weird problem - for existing project the jetty server ist now out of order - tomcat works fine:
com.vaadin.server.ServiceException: Could not read atmosphere settings
Reason: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.eclipse.jetty.websocket.WebSocketFactory$Acceptor
I cleaned all dirs - problem still exists
Update: Now i cleaned every cache and started the ivy tool chain again - similar problem now:
Starting the preview server displays following message:
