This may be the last maintenance release for 5.2.x “stable beta” branch.
This release includes fixes for Java Servlet 2.3 compatibility. (The Servlet 2.3 API is rather old but used by other old systems.) The build is now done with genuine Servlet 2.3 library and Java 1.4, to ensure that there is no incompatible use of newer API.
