We have now started a fast maintenance release cycle, making light-weight releases about weekly. Their purpose is to provide important fixes to customers and community faster, but without the inherent instability of the nightly builds. The weekly releases contain only fixes and not ongoing development.

Weekly releases pose a big challenge for quality assurance. We already run automated regression tests with IT Mill Testing Tools for the nightly builds (
http://itmill.com/download/nightly/Default.html
). All the tests actually pass now, after removing nondeterministic behaviour from the test applications.
