“invalid LOC header (bad signature)” usually means that the file has been corrupted. Can you try downloading it again, or cloning it with Git?

I am experimenting with Vaadin and so downloaded the starter project from GitHub (https://github.com/vaadin/tutorial), but could not
mvn install
 it. The stack trace is attached.
