GWT Dependency

I’m concerned about Google’s commitment to GWT. I’m hearing about the team dispersing to work on other projects.

I’d like to know if Vaadin is planning any contingency if that happens.

We have put a lot of thought into this lately and the conclusions are:

  1. GWT is much stronger than it looks from the outside at the moment. Google will discuss the status and the future plans at
    Google IO
    .

  2. We at Vaadin are planning to help to ensure strong future of GWT. I hope to be able to discuss this more in couple of weeks.
