Vaadin Spring Add-on: Will there be a fix allowing UI (de)serialization?

Hello,

I’d like to turn on session replication for my app. The app is using the Vaadin Spring add-on. However, the original Vaadin4Spring extension lists
this issue
 as blocking UI (de)serialization, thus not allowing session replication. I wonder if this is likely to be fixed anytime in the foreseeable future?
