The add-on provides components and tooling for mobile devices, based on the old official Vaadin TouchKit add-on. This add-on supports only Vaadin Framework 8 and newer and is maintained by community. The version 5.0.0 supports "Google PWA" for Chrome browsers. So instead of Apples cache manifest and metatags, offline support and stronger caching is implemented with serviceworker and homescreen web app support by manifest.json.
