As mentioned earlier the AppFoundation add-on has been one of the community favorites for some time now. So, it hardly comes as a surprise that until the end of July, Kim Leppänen managed to collect 684 points winning the iPad of the month for himself. Congratulations!

Foundation for your application

For those not familiar with AppFoundation: It provides a simple and lightweight foundation for a Vaadin application. The project is still modularized consisting of individual modules for persistence, authentication, i18n and view handling. You can learn more about these at the add-on page.

Release early - update often

I think this month showed us clearly how important it is for a project to have continuous release strategy. It is not a matter of project size or winning a competition, but building good open source project that lives on. Good work!
