My name is Henri Muurimaa, and I run the engineering department here at Vaadin. Among other things this means that if you wish to join our team you'll probably end up in an interview with me.

I may be a manager by profession but I'm a developer by heart. While I don't have enough time for writing code these days, I've managed to release a few addons for Vaadin.

Sometimes I also give talks at conferences, eg. in JavaOne, GWT.create, Devoxx Belgium, Javazone, OSCON and Jfokus to mention a few. My favorite topics include functional programming and Scala.
