Building Desktop-Like Apps for the Web

FA Solutions were investigating the best way to build an application for investment portfolio management. The objective was to find a technology that would enable FA Solutions to build desktop-like applications for the Web. The Vaadin Framework was chosen as the technology for the product as it hid the complexities of web-development and enabled the team to focus on the business logic while the framework handled the rest.

In late 2016, FA Solutions decided to engage with Vaadin to develop their new product, FA Front.

Highly-Usable, Modular & Responsive Web App

Vaadin consultants worked together with the domain experts at FA Solutions to design the architecture and develop the user interface of the new product. The application was built using Vaadin Framework and Spring, to enable a modular and responsive application with superb usability and a customizable look & feel. The collaboration between FA Solutions and Vaadin has since expanded and Vaadin is a key development partner for FA Solutions.
