Is there a way to download the HTML version of the book? I would like to bundle it in a NetBeans module as JavaHelp so it can be part (hopefully) of the NetBeans Vaadin plugin.
Perhaps you can use some Web spider, like HTTrack, to get the pages.
At the moment you can get the current version of the book

It looks great! I’m already looking at Java libraries available to handle Epubs. I’ll let you know when I have something to show.
