Due to requirements for an Enterprise app I'm considering deploying to Adobe AIR (and having graceful degradation of functionality when delivered to a browser)
(I need to integrate with native apps - Office, EDRMS, GIS etc, I think it will also give better offline behaviour than normal HTML5)
The guys doing GWT4Air have talked about doing Vaadin one day but they are really saying it's too hard.
Anyone here have any ideas how it can be done? Can we do a simple GWT (GWT4Air) app that loads the Vaadin engine?
Or is there better ways of integrating with native apps from a browser (NOT ActiveX!)
Now that Vaadin7 support pure clientside Widgets.Adobe AIR integration is straightforward.
