Vaadin as an eclipse project

Hi!

On the Book of vaadin, in 2.3.2, it states that is possible to import vaadin as a project in eclipse, but i’ve tried it unsucessfuly. Eclipse says that the uncompressed root folder isn’t an eclipse project.

Hi David,

the packaging of Vaadin has gone through major changes with the release of Vaadin 6.7.0 and there is no longer a ZIP package that could be imported as an Eclipse project. Unfortunately the documentation in Book of Vaadin is still outdated.

I’d suggest you to get started by installing the
Vaadin Plug-in for Eclipse
 and creating a new Vaadin Project template using the plug-in.
