Custom components and Visual Editor

Is there a way to tell the visual editor to exclude certain custom components from the component pallete? My project is going to be composed of alot of custom components, most of which I do not need to be able to select from the visual editors pallete.

Hi,

I think that is not possible ATM, but sounds like a relevant improvement idea. I created an issue for it:
